With the Gran Fondo Package, you'll have all the tools to train efficiently, purposefully, and safely. This package combines essential testing and personal guidance in one cost-effective formula, spread out over six months. You'll undergo two effort tests, each followed by a personalised 12-week training schedule – tailored to your level and goals.

What can you expect?
This package includes two cycling effort tests, performed on a cycle ergometer (Cyclus 2). During the test, we gradually increase the intensity while monitoring key parameters such as heart rate and lactate levels. This helps us accurately determine your fitness level and ideal training zones. After the test, there’s time for a cooldown and a refreshing shower. You’ll complete the test on your own (racing) bike. *
The first test is done at the start of your training journey. The second is scheduled in consultation with your coach, typically after 12 weeks – but it can also be scheduled earlier. After each test, you’ll receive a 12-week personalised training schedule.
The second test is used to measure your progress and refine your training goals with your coach. Planning to take part in a race? This test will help build a realistic pacing strategy.

*Can’t bring your own bike? No worries – all our labs are equipped with a variety of bikes you can use during testing.
You’ll receive two personalised 12-week training schedules based on your goals, training history, and the results from your effort tests.
Your body composition will be measured twice during your program using the gold-standard Lunar DEXA scan. Immediately after each scan, you’ll get a clear breakdown of:
- Fat percentage and fat-free mass
- Muscle mass
- Bone mass and bone density
- Weight and regional body composition
These insights help you work toward your personal goals and allow you to train, recover, and fuel more strategically.
During the effort test we measure your VO2 max — the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use during exercise. This gives you valuable insight into your cardiovascular fitness and athletic potential.
